How do Getting started and your first-month discount work?

When you create your account, you’ll see the “Getting started” list at the bottom right, next to the “Almendra AI” button. It stays with you for your first 30 days, with the steps that help most to start working with your real patients.

The 4 steps

1. Add your first patient. A real patient, not the sample one. Click “Start” and we’ll guide you in 3 steps.
2. Create their meal plan. Start from a template or with the AI assistant.
3. Turn on online booking. Set your working hours and turn on at least one service so patients can book on their own. For help, see How to add my office hours?.
4. Create a plan for a second patient. It counts once two different patients each have at least one plan.

The sample patient (“Paciente Demo”) and their plans don’t count toward any step.

Every time you complete a step, Almendra shows it right away and suggests the next one. You can minimize the list with the arrow and reopen it from the “Getting started” button.

Your first-month discount

Each completed step adds 5% off, up to 20% with all 4 steps. The list shows how much you’ve unlocked.

• The discount is applied automatically when you pay for your first month of a monthly plan. No code needed.
• It only applies to your first payment, and not to yearly plans.
• What you earn is never lost: if you already had a discount from the old “Introduction Guide”, you keep it.

If you have a limited-time offer

If you see an offer with a countdown at the top of the screen (for example, 50% OFF), that offer replaces the Getting started discount while it’s running. During that time the list shows “Offer on”.

Your steps keep counting: once the countdown ends, you’ll see the discount you earned again, and it’s applied when you pay.

What if I hide the list?

“Hide this list” removes it from your screen. Steps you complete afterwards still count toward your discount, which is worked out when you pay.

Where are the tours and videos?

The guided tours (sample meal plan and appointment) and the video tutorials are under “Tours and videos”, from the help icon (?) at the top.
