Almendra

What happens if I cancel my subscription? Can I keep using Almendra?

If you cancel your subscription, you keep using Almendra on your plan until the period you already paid for ends. Then your account moves to the free plan.

Updated October 27, 2026

Yes, you can keep using Almendra after you cancel. Cancelling doesn’t end your access right away: your plan stays active until the period you already paid for ends. On that day it doesn’t renew and your account moves to the free plan.

How to cancel

  1. Go to Settings → Subscription.
  2. Click Cancel subscription.
  3. Tell us why you want to cancel. Depending on your answer, we may offer you an alternative, such as pausing your plan. If you still want to cancel, click No, I want to cancel.
  4. Under Before you cancel you’ll see the date your plan stays active until. Click Cancel my plan.

After you cancel

In Settings → Subscription your plan shows Cancels on and the date. Until that day you can use everything your plan includes, as usual. The plan doesn’t renew, and from that day your account is on the free plan.

If your plan is billed by active patients, the charge for that last period’s active patients comes when the period closes, just like every month. You can see the estimated amount under Projected charge, on the same page.

Your patients, meal plans, appointments and recipes aren’t deleted when you cancel. More in If I cancel my subscription, will my data be deleted?.

If you change your mind

Before that date you can undo it: in Settings → Subscription, click Resume and then Yes, resume. Your plan carries on as before, with no interruption. If you don’t see that option or it doesn’t work, write to us from Help and we’ll sort it out.

If you just need a break

Depending on the reason you pick in step 3, we may offer to pause your plan for 1 to 3 months instead of cancelling it. If you see that option, click Pause my plan.
