How do I add a time to a meal?

Add a time to a meal in the meal plan from the meal's header, or in the table with the pencil or with Assign time for several days. The time is optional.

First, keep in mind that a meal doesn’t need a time. If that’s what you want, leave the time field empty. This is useful on days when the patient doesn’t have a fixed schedule.

There are several ways to set a meal’s time, depending on the editor you’re using.

1. In the day-by-day and flexible editors:

In each meal’s header, next to its name, there’s the time field. Click it and pick the time.

2. In the table editor:

A) One meal at a time:

Hover over the meal you want to edit and click the pencil in the top right corner. The meal window opens: type the time in the Time field.

B) Many meals at once:

Click the three dots next to the meal’s name in the first column (for example, “Lunch”) and then Assign time. Enter the time, select the days you want to assign it to and click Confirm. If any of those days already had a time, it will be replaced.

For example, you can set lunch at 1:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday and leave Saturday and Sunday without a time.

Meals with a time show a small clock with the time in their cell.
