Almendra

If I exit a meal plan in progress or my computer shuts down, will it be deleted?

A meal plan in progress isn't lost if you leave or your computer shuts down: Almendra saves every change on its own so you pick up where you left off.

No. Once you’ve clicked Add meal plan, the only way to delete the plan is for you to delete it: in the editor, from the three dots at the top right, with Delete plan. Keep in mind that you can’t delete a meal plan the patient has already followed (for example, if the plan ran from March 3 to March 17 and today is March 22, you can no longer delete it, because it’s part of the patient’s history).

Every change is saved automatically. There’s no save button: while a change is being saved, you’ll see Saving changes next to the Next button.

If your computer shuts down or you lose your connection, don’t worry. When you come back (or open Almendra on another device), you’ll find the plan right where you left it. If a change didn’t get saved, Almendra keeps a copy on your device and keeps retrying. The next time you open the plan on that device, it shows you the unsaved version so you can choose which one to keep.

If you edit the same plan in two tabs or devices at once, Almendra warns you with This plan was changed somewhere else and you can choose Keep my changes or Load the other version.
